I was watching a report on tv of the devastation in the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.
I was compelled to do a drawing of this very beautiful young mother of two, the pain, suffering,uncertainty etched on her face.
5.5 x 3.5 inches, pencil, pentel and soft pastel chalks
Please if you can make a donation to a legitimate relief organization, research and use discretion, as always some heartless bastards are at work out there.

This was my first time using the brush pen, I bought it at Kinokuniya Bookstore NYC on my way to drawing session. I like it. thanks for the heads up Tim.
